Who is eligible to participate in the program?
Leadership Hilliard is open to those individuals that work or live
in the Hilliard area.
When do I apply?
Applications are accepted for review by the Leadership Hilliard
Advisory Board starting in June and running up to September 1 prior
to the start of the next class.
How do I apply?
From the Leadership Hilliard website, access the Leadership Hilliard
Application. Print a copy, complete, include your resume and turn it
in to the Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce office at 4081 Main
Street in Hilliard. Applications are also available at the chamber
office or from members of the Leadership Hilliard and Chamber
boards.
When do classes begin?
The first class is on a Sunday in mid-September with orientation,
Hilliard history, a bus tour and family cookout.
How often do classes meet?
A complete schedule is usually available for review when
applications are completed. Classes meet once or twice a month from
mid-September through April. Most are scheduled on Monday evenings
from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Meals are usually provided.
What are the requirements?
Attendance is mandatory at all sessions. The class also does a group
project. (See Past Projects in this web site). Participants are also
required to attend a School Board meeting and a City Council meeting
during the year.
How much does it cost?
Tuition is $300.00 paid after September 1 or $250.00 if paid prior
to September 1.
